Fire Animation

Fire Animation

I went back to animating a fire then imported the footage to After effects, experimenting with the effects on the animation to see how it would make it more 3D, using it light and blur effects.

Taking some slight reference from a video and looking on a few tutorials to see which effects would be more advisable to a animated fire. Using Gaussian blur, glow, sharpen and vibrance effects and all of have made major changes to it, making it seem more like a flame than it was before. Being able to produce effects in way that is quick and useful to make, just by adding them to the flame.

Fire animation - No effects

Fire animation - Version 1

Fire animation - Version 2

Fire animation - Version 3

Fire animation - Version 4

Fire animation - Version 5

Throughout these version I have been adding and adjusting the effects seeing how much of differences their is between each of these footage, version 1, 2 and 3 seem almost similar with each other but only having a slightly different from the lighting. Version 4 and 5 are the only two that have the most noticeable difference from the other versions and that have a brighter inner fire. I have become more interested with the effects from the software and I will continue to work to produce more animation effects.
